We’ve been in your shoes
Working in small charities for the last 15 years, Vic struggled to find affordable and appropriate freelance support and consultancy from people who really ‘got’ smaller organisations.
With the brilliant free support available, Vic had taken her small charity as far as she could. But her organisation ne
eded more. She was spinning lots of plates and wearing ALL the hats as a small charity leader - and she realised she couldn’t do it all. Vic needed specialists at a price her organisation could afford.
So she created Fair Collective - back in 2016.

“With over 15 years of experience working and volunteering for small charities, it’s safe to say: I’m a small charity sector devotee” - Vic Hancock Fell

Founder Vic smiling warmly at the camera against a Sheffield backdrop. She is a White woman with short brown hair and glasses. She is wearing a white t-shirt and a lime green cardigan.

Our Founder, Vic, has worked in small charities for the past 15 years. And she kept on facing the same challenge: finding affordable and appropriate freelance support and consultancy - from people who really "got" the charity’s unique challenges.

"I understand the challenges you face. I've been there too. That's why I'm passionate about helping socially purposed organisations do more good stuff, no matter their size.

Since 2016, I've been dedicating my time to helping good humans. I'm proud to say that we've provided over 500 hours of pro bono support to small charities in the last 7 years. I founded a network of over 2,000 small charities working in global solidarity work. I've volunteered and sit on small charity boards; I’m currently Vice Chair at a small environmental charity.

Why do I care? Because I believe in the collective power of people who want to do good stuff in the world. Small organisations in particular are the lifeblood of our communities and your good cause deserves the best. Fair Collective will work hard to achieve that, right by your side, by matching you with reliable (and affordable!) support.

Our mission: to give every organisation the tools, support and solidarity to thrive - regardless of their size".
