Trusted support for almost a decade

We’ve been matching talented freelancers and consultants with social good causes for almost 10 years. Fair Collective was started to ensure the sector's smallest charities could access high quality affordable support and today we work with organisations of all sizes from the tiniest grassroots movements to large national and international charities.

We’re a fully remote social enterprise with no physical offices and with team members around the country from Sheffield to London, Edinburgh to Devon (plus a few in North America and Africa!).

Fair Collective is a safe space for everyone

We especially want to make sure we are a safe space for LGBTQIA+ people, neurodivergent and disabled individuals, and racialised communities. We’re constantly learning to make sure everyone feels welcome here.

And, when you work with us, you’re not just benefiting from our practical support. You’re also contributing towards our social mission of making support accessible for even the tiniest organisations, through our pro bono support.

I've been impressed by Fair Collective’s focus to find the right consultant(s) for our needs and the quality of consultants met. Alongside this, I love the ethos of Fair Collective and the wider work they deliver to support our sector.

We've listed our day rates on our website since day one. We know you need to know up front whether our support is within your budget.

Our day rate ranges have been developed in consultation with organisations and associates to ensure they're affordable for charities of all shapes and sizes, as well as being fair to our freelancers.

Our business model

Our associates pay a 10% referral fee on all work they get through Fair Collective.

After paying our business expenses, at least 50% of our profits directly fund our pro-bono work for tiny charities and grassroots movements.
