Ashley Kuchanny

Ashley is a professional grant maker, specialising in assessing a wide range of projects for a major grant giving organisation. She regularly makes funding recommendations for both UK and International projects, and works closely with organisations to improve their applications in order to maximise their success.   

She has over 15 years of experience working in international development, including living / working in Zambia, Bangladesh and Uganda. With an Ma in Poverty and Development, she was also previously a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the Institute of Development Studies. This experience places her in the unique situation of understanding the reality of working in the sector whilst also knowing what makes an excellent application from a donors perspective.
