Bio
I am the CEO of a small, grassroots charity that equips community-based actors across the UK and East Africa to drive meaningful social change. My role involves strategic leadership, fundraising, governance, and building partnerships that ensure sustainability and amplify local voices. Prior to this, I managed a private grant-making foundation, where I worked closely with organisations in Peru and Papua New Guinea. This experience gave me a deep understanding of both sides of the funding relationship—what grassroots organisations need to thrive, and how funders can best support them.
As a consultant, I bring over a decade of experience helping small charities strengthen their strategy, diversify income, and communicate impact. I am passionate about supporting leaders to feel confident, connected, and equipped to deliver change, particularly in underfunded or overlooked areas. My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in real-world charity leadership experience.
