Small Charity Specialist
Bio
I bring nearly 20 years’ experience working with and for small charities, with a career built on helping organisations grow stronger, more confident, and more impactful. I spent over a decade at the FSI, where I shaped and scaled their learning programme and consultancy offer for small charities across the UK. In 2021, I became CEO of Power for the People, a small international development charity working in East Africa. In my first two years I led a five-fold increase in income, strengthened governance and management, and expanded our impact through collaboration and a focus on learning and accountability.
I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that small charities face. My approach is practical, pragmatic, and strengths-based - helping leaders and teams find clarity, build confidence, and create the conditions for sustainable organisational development. I'm an all-rounder who can support on governance, strategic development, impact measurement and evaluations, fundraising strategy.
