Josie has worked within a combination of freelance and employed work, as a Chartered Accountant, for over 30 years, the last 20 years specialising in the charity sector. Working within registered charities (including limited liability organisations) and non-profit organisations.
The work has focused on:
Interim senior level finance and governance support
Grant management with experience of national and international funders and contractors
Independent Examinations and SORP-compliant statutory accounts
Bookkeeping, payroll, pension, banking, VAT – hands on and support
Josie’s personal goal is to turn financial jargon into an understandable language that even the least numerate person can understand. This reduces worry and stress for CEO’s, Board members and project managers alike.
