Bio

I have worked in the charity and not-for-profit sector for 20 years, mostly for small charities. I now works as a freelance charity consultant, providing wide-ranging support. I has extensive fundraising and marketing experience but also work with charities and social enterprises to develop their strategic vision and services and advises on demonstrating impact, charity governance, budgets and project management.

I have a successful track record of helping charities increase their funding throughout my career, as well as being an experienced charity trustee and mentor. My key skills are: developing a charity strategic vision; working with trustees and charity employees to provide a clear direction and building a delivery programme to support this vision; developing fundraising strategies including building trust and foundations pipelines, developing corporate fundraising, individual giving and community fundraising programmes; and developing a marketing and communications platform for charities to build their brand and connect with supporters.
