Bio
Laura is an adaptable leader and generalist with nearly 20 years in the VCSE sector. Rooted in the North East, she’s held local, regional and national roles including Vision for Volunteering Lead at NCVO and wider partnership, and Head of Volunteering at St Oswald’s Hospice. Current freelance roles includes CEO of a small children's speech and language charity, inclusion lead with an organisation supporting refugees and asylum seekers and development lead with a new, environmental CIC. She volunteers as a trustee at her local foodbank. Down-to-earth and values-driven, Laura can support you with a variety of operational, developmental and strategic themes including volunteering, project management, organisational culture, recruitment and inclusion.
