Olly Parsons

Olly is a humanitarian innovation specialist, with over 13 years' experience of building multi-sector partnerships and scaling solutions to global challenges.

Olly has worked for multilateral and private sector organizations. At UNHCR, Olly specialised in building partnerships to leverage private sector resource, expertise, and innovation in order to address refugee emergencies. As Director of the GSMA Mobile for Humanitarian Innovation Fund, Olly oversaw the investment of £6.5 million to organisations accelerating the delivery and impact of efficient and dignified humanitarian assistance. As an independent consultant, Olly supports social enterprises, private companies, NGOs, governments, and donors, with business plan creation, partnership development, and innovation scaling.

Olly holds an MSc in Practicing Sustainable Development with ICT4D, and is a trustee of a London-based charity focused on botanical education and the community.
