Bio
I am a writer, editor and communications strategist. With more than 20 years’ experience, I have consulted for multinational NGOs, including Amnesty International, Article 19, Oxfam, Save the Children International and WaterAid. My expertise includes concept co-development with fellow creatives, developing hope-based message frames, writing impact stories, designing communications plans, and writing long-and short-form content. Throughout my career, I have applied an anti-racist and feminist lens to the communications I produce, championing under-represented voices and promoting agency through careful attention to language and imagery. I am also author of the novel Plastic Emotions, which was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature’s Encore Award (2020). I am currently working on my third novel, among other creative writing projects, funded by Arts Council England and the Authors' Foundation.
